A RETRO TWIST WITH " VURVE SIGNATURE SALON"

Yay !! Its Christmas , On todays post i am gonna show how to get styled for the christmas party with "VURVE SIGNATURE SALON".Before I start let me give a teeny weeny opening about Vurve.

Vurve is a vibrant, upbeat & urban salon located at nungambakam & alwarpet .Each hairstylist & makeup artist is carefully hand picked, trained, and geared to the most happening trends in the hair and beauty space. They specialize in - Haircuts, Hairstyling, Makeovers, Makeup (Bridal & Fashion) & Skin treatment. 

They being very innovative and open to experimenting when it comes to hairstyles and makeup , I wanted to try something new and different hence I opted for a complete retro look for this post thanks to my love who introduced me to his vintage world and a classic cocktail look which you would see in my next post. I met their team and explained on how I wanted my hairdo and makeup .Needless to say! Their amazing stylists and makeup artist made this experience a lot more memorable and made me fall in love with myself all over again .

For the hairdo , They got me a twisted messy bun with a mild bangs in the front.  This is a super cool vintage hairstyle, just like the gatsby type, I instantly fell in love with this hairstyle.

For the makeup, I am not as experimental with makeup as I am for hairstyle, and was a little skeptical at the beginning  , but the out put was tremendously beautiful. They did a High definition ,3 Dimensional  make up as I have a oval facial shape , The best part of the makeup was the smokey eyes which made my eyes look well defined and a nude lip shade to give a soft finish .

Coming to the outfit since its retro theme , how can I go without polkadots. From Minnie mouse's polka dot dress to monroe's polka dot bikini .Polka dot has always been a star when it comes to vintage fashion and i personally feel it makes a certain statement about femininity .So I chose to wear a black and white polka dot skirt and Paired it with a off shoulder top in peach which was a contrast match to the skirt , of course the off shoulder look is timeless and malleable  . I also wore a ankle strap pumps to complete the look . 

All that I wanted to wear for a vintage look ,I got them all from "BLEND IN STYLE" a store which is updated with current fashion trend for both women and kids . What I loved the most about this store is that they have amazing collections with great quality at a very reasonable price which is quite a rare combination. Their accessory collections are not to be missed , they have some beautiful pieces to die for . Both my hairdo and makeup complemented my outfit so well that I got a perfect retro look.
