A FESTIVE FUSION

The Festive season is in ,Yes!! It is Navratri . Though the nine days Of festival will be jam-packed with Delicious food ,Foot tapping Garba , Gollu, cultural events in temples and Unending fun & Entertainment . In between all this one cannot forget to look her fashionable best during the festivals, It an opportunity to show the traditional side of us In a fashionable yet trendy way. 

The most awaited dance form I look forward on the festival of navratri is the dandiya raas, Which is known for setting the festive mood . What I love the most about Dandiya is the colorful costumes worn by the dancers  , The embroidered choli , Ghagras and bandhini dupattas glittering with mirror work and heavy metal jewellery.Being a south indian these glittery mirror work ghagras fascinates me 

Just because its a traditional dandiya night ,one need not have to be in a much expected gagrah choli. 

This year I tried putting in my own style by Fusing Indian and Western elements .

I styled my old Traditional Red &black lehenga decorated with beads , mirror works & shells with a Crop Top,  To make the outfit slightly edgy I paired it with a denim vest . This look cannot be completed with out those chunky metal jewelleries . 

This look can also be worn on other days when you are bored of your jeans ,tshirts & want a desi look.

Don't forget your waterproof make up because you might sweat a lot while dancing . Also pair your outfit with comfy footwear with which you can dance .

P.S. A quick tip ,You can also try pairing your lehenga skirt with a crisp white shirt.
