ALL THAT I KNOW ABOUT MIDI SKIRTS

Back in the 80’s to mid 90’s  the midi Skirts were too much in fashion , From the celebs to college going girls flaunted  the trend of midi skirts with oversized shirts and blouses . This trend of midi skirts vanished for a long time when the idea of  showing a lot of skin became a symbol of fashion statement and thats when mini/micro and long skirts rose to fame .

There is one thing that I Love the most in the world of fashion i.e. “Fashion Repeats “  After decades of wearing these short and long skirts ,Make way for the midi skirt .it’s time to set trends in the length we’re all lusting after this season . 

From skinny knife pleats to wide panelled pleats, accordion folds are no longer just for preppy school girl skirts. it is filled with elegance and sophistication, if styled right the pleated midi skirt can be worn for any occasion .

In todays post I have styled my Accordion midi skirt with an oversized shirt to give texture to my waistline and the fall of skirt.this skirts versatility is what seduced me . We can combine them with high heels, boots, mules, ballerinas and even, sneakers.so I styled mine with a brown boots which was contrast to the skirt and complimented the shirt I wore . 

Midi skirts have taken the street fashion by storm , ignore the crop tops and blouses , styled with a tank top and baseball jackets and slouchy sweaters and tees over blazers, oversized shirts  and oxfords, pleated skirts no longer just scream preppy.
