THE PRINT THAT NEVER FADES : FLORAL PRINTS | SUMMER /SPRING 2016

Fabric prints are as trend driven as colors and garment styles , The Prints are becoming an increasingly utilised instrument in any designers or brands .

There are  so many prints in fabrics like Strips ,checks , polka dots , aztec , ikat  etc   to choose from in the fashion house , but the one that comes to my mind when it comes to printed fabrics is the Floral prints. Floral has been one of the ubiquitous theme in fashion.  it is the universal symbol of femininity .

Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of summer/spring. Perhaps this is why the floral trend is one that just won’t go away. This season’s florals come in soft pastel colours and vibrant hues, all of which are some variation of the garden theme. 

The floral maxi that I am wearing in this post ,is an pastel olive green with hues of vibrant red flowers , which stands out in the outfit. As the material was not sufficient to give an extra A line volume to the outfit , I added some ruffles at the finishing length to give a tiny bit of layer and volume and for sleeves i went short with mild puff on the shoulder . As you guys always know I, went minimal with accessorise . 

This versatile motif is here to stay and I really can’t wait to see what future holds for it .
